After two grueling rounds of chess today at the World Youth in Vung Tau, Vietnam (October 19-31), Darwin Yang still has a perfect 4/4 in the Boys Under 12. Close to perfect are Hannah Liu in the Girls Under 8, and Sam Shankland in the Boys Under 18, with 3.5/4 each. Check out complete results of the U.S. team.

In round one, Darwin Yang won a quickie:

2493

There is a live game link on the official website , but it appears to have mixed up the colors and incorrectly posted that Darwin was the loser in his fourth round game against Xu Xianliang. Here is that game:

2492

Don't miss Sam Shankland's in-depth analysis of his round one victory posted yesterday. Keep checking CLO for more game and photos updates throughout the week!
