2009 U.S. Chess Champion, Hikaru Nakamura, Photo Betsy Dynako
Hikaru Nakamura, now rated 2710 FIDE, is slated for a number of elite international tournaments in the coming year, including San Sebastian, Spain (July 6-16) right after the World Open. He is also playing in the London Chess Classic from December 8-15th. See the press release on that event here. Nakamura is also playing in Corus Chess 2010 "A" section (January 15-30).
