Casey S. Hermann (1968-2009) Casey S. Hermann, a USCF-rated Class A player from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, died May 5, 2009 in Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born September 7, 1968 in Fond du Lac and had lived here all his life. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1987. Among the tournaments he competed in were the 1992 Wisconsin Amateur Open, the 1992 Lake Winnebago Municipal Chess Tournament, the 27th Badger Open, the 43rd William Martz North Central Open, and the 33rd Northeastern Open.
