Further Details on USCF Call for USCF Sales Vendor Bids

stacksli.jpgThe deadline for vendors interested in bidding for the USCF Sales contract is set for Saturday, April 4, 2009.  Anyone intending to submit a bid should contact the Executive Director, Bill Hall, at [email protected] as soon as possible.  The winning bid is expected to be selected by April 7, 2009, at which time the USCF hopes to sign a letter of intent for final, exclusive contract negotiations.  This is a sealed bid process; however, if no acceptable bids are received, the USCF reserves the right to void the bids and begin the process again. 

 

Although certainly not an exhaustive list, all bids should address, at the minimum, the following parameters:

  • Commission rate
  • Length of contract
  • Guarantees and/or prepayments
  • Breadth of product offering
  • Time frame for start up
  • Plan to process phone, mail, and internet orders
  • Sufficient funding to establish initial inventory and staffing
  • Catalogs and general marketing plan

Creative and/or non-traditional ideas are encouraged.  Bids for only specific segments for the Book and Equipment vending will be considered.
