Daily Fantasy Prizes

Check out the 25+ books that will serve as daily prizes for Fantasy Chess 2008.  Even if you don't win the grand prizes (Monroi PCMs, a signed board by all the participants, etc.), you have nine chances to win the daily prize, the book of your choice from the list below. if your team improves more than any other team on a given round. If you win a book prize, you will be e-mailed at the end of the tournament so that you can select your title; early winners will get their first choice for titles. 

This is your last chance to enter a fantasy team! Registration closes at 3:30 EST tomorrow when round 1 of the The Frank Berry U.S. Championship (May 13-21) kicks off.  Be sure to login to monroi.com tomorrow to watch the games live each round.

Tiebreaks

  In the event of a tie for a daily prize, the tiebreaks will be:

1. Whose fantasy team has the higher overall score in the competition will win the daily prize
2. The team with the lower average rating will win the daily prize
3. If #1 and #2 still leaves a tie, CLO will award up to three book prizes. In the case of a larger tie, the overall competition tiebreaks that you guessed when selecting your team (1. Guessing your overall team score 2. number of moves for the longest game of the tournament) will determine the two book winners.
