Team Captain and FIDE Senior trainer Michael Khodorkovsky told CLO that the team was honored that, "Elizabeth Millard, Deputy Chief of Mission, from the US Embassy in Kazakhstan attended the opening ceremony to support the team. She and her husband Von Millard met with us and joined for the reception following the opening ceremony."
