GM Maurice Ashley to Appear at National High School and Elementary

The first African-American Grandmaster in history, Maurice Ashley will give a lecture at the 2011 National High School Championship in Nashville on April 30th. He will also play a simul at the National Elementary in Dallas on May 6, 2011.

The lecture is for coaches, parents, and available participants.  It will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30 am, April 30, 2011 in the Heritage E meeting room during the 2011 National High School Championship.  There is no charge for the Lecture.
 
Participants of the 2011 National Elementary can sign up for his May 6 simultaneous exhibition online. A fee of just $25.00 includes an autographed GM Maurice Ashley vinyl roll up board to keep as a souvenir of the simul.
