Coach Aviv Friedman reports that all 40 U.S. players have arrived safely in Halkidiki and are ready for battle--the first round just began. Watch top boards live on the official site. Shaun traveled to Athens with Justus Williams of the CIS program and they got a chance to see a few sites before the chess festivities begin. Justus, 12, recently broke the record for the youngest African-American master ever.
