Registration is now open for the Spring online college team tournament, hosted by the Internet Chess Club. The first round will be this Sunday at 2 p.m. EST. This is one hour earlier than the following rounds in order to allow football fans to watch the Super Bowl.

To sign-up for the online team tournament go to this link: http://www.chessclub.com/activities/CCLinfo.html. The deadline for registration is midnight PST on Friday.

A link for the *tournament guidelines* is at the top of the college chess webpage: http://www.collegechess.org/. Please make sure to review these.

If your college will enter more than one team, please indicate which of your college's teams you are playing for when you enter the name of your college on the registration page (Ex: XYZ University A, XYZ University B). If you do not yet know which of your school's teams you will be on, then just list the name of your school and make sure your team captain provides me with the lineups.

If you have any ICC handle/account questions you can send an e-mail to [email protected]. Any tournament rules/guideline questions should be sent by your captain to me.

To make sure that you and your teammates are properly registered after signing-up, you can go to this link: https://www.chessclub.com/activities/cclreport/report.php

Also, if your college has a chess club/team website and it is not already listed at http://www.collegechess.org/websites.htm, send me an e-mail with the link.

Chess tournaments being held on college campuses or being sponsored by colleges can also be listed at http://www.collegechess.org/calendar.htm. If you have a link for an upcoming tournament e-mail it to me.
