Eight players remain in the World Women's Championship: GM Marie Sebag of France, GM Antoaneta Stefanova of Bulgaria, GM Nadezhda Kosintseva of Russia, IM Anna Ushenina of Ukraine, GM Dronavalli Harika of India and GM Zhao Xue, WGM Wenjun Ju and WGM Qian Huang of China. Despite a strong start in round three, US Women's Champ Irina Krush was eliminated in the tiebreak round to Huang.

Here's a nice win by former Women's World Champion, GM Stefanova over GM Monica Socko of Poland.
