Samuel Sevian is leading the Under 12 section in the World Youth Championships in Maribor, Slovenia with 6.5/7. (Since this article was posted, Sevian lost his eighth round game.) Other strong showings from our 80+ player squad include Aasa Dommalapati in the Girls Under 8 (6/8) and Bryce Tiglon (6/8) and Cameron Wheeler (7/8) in the Under 12 Open.
