Ashritha Eswaran (center) wins the gold medal at the Pan-Am Junior Girls

Reigning US Junior Girls Champ Ashritha Eswaran just added another accolade to a sweet summer. She earned a gold medal at the Pan-American Junior Championship in El Salvador. Her final score was 7.5/9.

Andrew Tang represented the US in the Overall section, and also finished at the top of the crosstable with 7.5/9, along with Kevin Cori Quipse of Peru. Tang earned the silver medal on tiebreak.
