At the North American Open in Las Vegas (Dec.26-29), GM Hikaru Nakamura and IM David Pruess tied for first with 6/7 each. Check the offical tournament website and monroi game coverage for more information. Also watch Chess Life Online for a blog from the scene by FM Todd Andrews.
