Round two of the NH Rising Stars vs. Experience (August 20-31) tournament saw four draws and one win by Ljubojevic over Hou Yifan (correction from earlier article.) Nakamura fought hard to break through Loek Van Wely's fortress with a queen vs. a rook. He tried as hard as he could, literally--he played to king against king.

Online spectators were briefly excited by 71.Qxe6 but it's just a draw after fxe6 72.Kh6 Kf7 73.Kh7 Kf6! threatening Kg5 so 74. Kh6 Kf7, threatening Kg8 and so on.

Team Experience continues to lead. Look for CLO stories by GM Ian Rogers and check out the official website for more details. Live games on the official site or the Internet Chess Club. Also follow the chessfm twitter feed.
