Jerry Hanken, 1934-2009
The late Life Master Jerome B Hanken contributions as a chess promoter and journalist often overshadow the fact that he was also an avid tournament player. In particular, he played in more than 40 US Opens, but unfortunately there are none of his games available from some of these Opens, and only a few are published from the other ones. Friends and colleagues of Jerry would like to have several games from each Open that he played in to compile into databases. Games from other tournaments are welcomed.  Send game scores to: [email protected].

Click here to download a database  of all currently available Hanken games  compiled by International Master John Donaldson. The pgn file is also available
