14-year-old Ray Robson picked up one of the few remaining World Cup spots, as a presidential nominee. Ray has earned two GM norms in quick succession, in Norway and Chicago.   Italian/American GM Fabiano Caruana also got one of six presidential picks! The tournament will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk from November 20 to December 15. The other American qualifiers are:

Hikaru Nakamura (may not play due to conflict with London Classic)
Robert Hess
Alexander Onischuk
Varuzhan Akobian
Yury Shulman
Jaan Ehlvest
Alexander Shabalov
