The 21-year-old two-time and current U.S. Champion Hikaru Nakamura, will play all comers (no limit to the number of boards) at a simultaneous exhibition at $50 per board on Friday, August 7th at the US Open in Indianapolis, Indiana. GM Nakamura has a packed schedule in the coming year, so it's lucky for his American fans that he can make it to the historic U.S. Open. Upcoming tournaments for Hikaru include the three-day schedule of the World Open and an elite round robin in San Sebastian, Spain (July 6-17). And in the winter, he'll tackle London and Corus . Be sure to bookmark his website.

The U.S. Open is also your chance to qualify for the 2010 U.S. Championships, set for Spring 2010 at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis! Five spots will be awarded to eligible U.S. players.

Women's World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk will also be giving a simul at the U.S. Open, at August 5 at 6 PM EST (Max 50 players.) You can also register at [email protected] or 931-787-1234 ex 147.The cost is $50, but kids Under 18 and anyone who defeats Kostneiuk will get a free autographed DVD from Alexandra.
