American Grandmasters Varuzhan Akobian and Alexander Ivanov tied for first with three others in the Continental Championships (July 10-20 Cali, Colombia) Peruvian legend Julio Granda Zuniga took the title on tiebreak. For some interesting games that affected the final standings, check CLO reports from yesterday and last week, or the Continental Championship official website . In the last round, all the top boards were drawn. The top five took home $5500 each.
