Our US Champion Hikaru Nakamura performed the best from the three American players, tying for 2nd-5th and picking up eight Grand Prix points, putting him just behind Veselin Topalov in the overall Grand Chess Tour standings.

The Sinquefield Cup festivities wrap up on Thursday with an exhibition event, Ultimate Moves, featuring Randy Sinquefield and Rex Sinquefield teaming up with Sinquefield Cup players. Former World Champion Garry Kasparov will also return for the action.
