So, the reigning Millionaire Chess Open champion, now plays for the United States, and is ranked #8 in the March 2015 FIDE list (behind Nakamura at #3.) They are also #3 and #8 on the live ranking list. The inclusion of both So and Nakamura, as well as defending champion Gata Kamsky, should make the 2015 US Chess Championship a tense and competitive affair.
