ImageGM Kateryna Lahno of Ukraine dominated the World Women's blitz with 20 points out of 30. US resident and reigning Women's Champ GM Alexandra Kosteniuk took 6th with 17 points. Reigning US Women's Champion IM Irina Krush did not repeat her great semifinals performance and ended in 14th place. See complete crosstable and more information on womenblitz.com/.

Irina is now off to the Women's Chess Olympiad, which begins in Khanty-Mansiysk next week (opening ceremony on September 20th, round 1 on the 21st.)
