If you are quivering at the prospect of taking on World #1 Magnus Carlsen at the G-Star Raw Chess Challenge on September 10, the latest press release from G-star Raw should be encouraging. US #1 rated player GM Hikaru Nakamura along with GMs Judit Polgar of Hungary and GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave of France will lead the World team! G-Star Raw, an international clothing company founded in Amsterdam that specializes in denim, announced earlier this summer their Fall/Winter 2010 collaboration with Magnus.

GM Garry Kasparov will serve as the event's ambassador. Garry Kasparov said: “I am acting as the ambassador of this Challenge, because I am attracted by the unique character of the RAW World Chess Challenge. There isn’t any sport I know of that gives the entire world the opportunity to play the world’s best simultaneously. Magnus is one of the greatest talents ever. This game will be a true challenge for him. Let’s see who wins: he or the World.”
