George R. Daniels (1947-2010)

George R. Daniels, a former USCF member from Greenfield, Wisconsin, died February 13, 2010 in West Allis, Wisconsin. He was 62. He was born in England on November 17, 1947, the son of Kurt and Irmgard (Moser) Daniels. 

Mr. Daniels owned his own business, Estate Integrity Group, providing estate planning to family-owned businesses for many years. He had served in the U.S. Air Force at a base in Omaha, Nebraska. 

An avid chess player, he played at the Waukesha (WI) Chess Club in the early 2000s and later at the Southwest Chess Club in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. 

Besides chess, he enjoyed photography and had an associate degree in photography from MTI. He also enjoyed the outdoors, playing Native American flutes, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. 

Besides his mother, living in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he is survived by his two sons, Edward Fugate of Grafton, Wisconsin, and Robert Jarosch of Colfax, Washington; his brother, Lewis Daniels of Denver, Colorado; his partner, Georgette Goundie of Greenfield; several grandchildren and a nephew. 

The funeral was held February 15. Burial was in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in Kenosha.
