Official Ratings and Ratings Information:

The US Chess Federation is a not-for-profit membership organization devoted to extending the role of chess in the United States. USCF serves as the governing body for chess in the United States and as a participant in international chess organizations and projects. The US Chess Federation provides official ratings for Over The Board, correspondence chess, and scholastic tournaments. Open tournaments are open to all USCF members. Every USCF member will have a provisional rating published after their first four games, and an established rating published after their first 20 games.
