These Top 100 lists are updated every two months by the United States Chess Federation. Ages are as of the first day of the month in which the lists are first published. For example, ages for the December lists (published in November) are as of November 1. These lists only include current USCF members. Please contact us if you have questions about these lists.

These corrections supercede all printed lists distributed for October 2005.
- Nicholas Hammond should have appeared on the Age 8 with a rating of 1058.
- Raymond Sun should have appeared on the Age 7 & Under with a rating of 906.
- Allegra Glinsky should have appeared on the Girls Under 13 list with a rating of 1123.
- David Utis should have appeared on the Age 9 list with a rating of 1439.
- Vignesh Rajasekaran should have appeared on the Age 7 with 905.
