| Shaked declines to play the closed position 8 ... c4 9 Bf1 Ba4 as then 10 g3 intending Bf1-h3 is good. However, if White plays 9 O-O, then 9 ... c4 is a stronger possibility as White's bishop can only go to e2. Another choice for White is 9 dxc5, trying to prove the Black bishop on a4 doing nothing.
