| An idea tried by Granda against Seirawan. On 7 d4, Black would play 7 ... Nxd4, trading off two sets of minor pieces. But this move shuts down the long diagonal, not allowing a trade of bishops, and keeping Black more bottled up. (Have a question? Ask GM Rohde!
