Position after 11. Nbd4

White has been tricked. Yermo could not find a way to make 11 Nxc7 Ra7 work for him, as his knight would be trapped, so White has ended up losing time and giving up a pawn for clearly insufficient compenasation. I think on White's 10th move he should have played 10 Bf4, as then if 10 ... Nc6 piling up on the e-pawn, 11 Nb5 looks like it could be played - 11 ... a6 12 Nxc7 Ra7 13 a4 and if 13 ... b6 then 14 Nxa6. (Have a question? Ask GM Rohde! Not all questions can be answered, but the Grandmaster will pick selected topics to cover live from e-mail received.)
