Yermolinsky takes a thematic poke at the Black c-pawn which is no longer defended by the queen. If 10 ... Na6 11 Bf4 and, with White's e-pawn securely defended, White consolidates his space edge with a nice game. But Benjamin has obviously prepared the move 6 ... e6 and its continuations. Another possibility is 10 ... Nc6, hitting White's e-pawn for a third time. Then after 11 Nxc7 Rb8 the position is unclear. (Have a question? Ask GM Rohde!
