Position after 1. d4

Next

Kaidanov plays both 1 d4 and 1 e4. Knowing that Fedorowicz plays dynamic defenses to 1 d4, and smarting after yesterday's loss from a good position against Browne, it is logical that Kaidanov would choose to get a fighting position with 1 d4.
