Winning because if 49 ... Qc8, the only move which defends the g4 pawn, White has 50 h5. Note that 49 Qxg4? would allow a perpetual after 49 ... Qf2+. A bigger question, however, is why didn't Christiansen play 48 ... Kh8. If then 49 Kg2 Qc8, although 50 b5 would still be very strong. (Have a question? Ask GM Rohde!
