(CROSSVILLE, TN)The 14th National G/60 Chess Championship was held May 20-21, 2006 at Joliet Jr. College in Joliet, Illinois under the direction of event organizer Dennis Doyle. 37 chess players participated in this national event in an attempt to achieve the national title. Class D: 1st place tie: Dennis Doyle (IL) and Sameer Datla (IL) 3.0.

Class E: 1st: Paul Peterson (IL) finished with 3.0 points.
