12th World Chess Champion Grandmaster Anatoly Karpov Will Attend The 2005 SuperNationals Chess Championship

On Sunday, April 10 at 2pm in the Presidential Ballroom B, GM Karpov will be presenting the concept of the Karpov Chess Schools around the Globe. His attendance is sponsored by the Karpov Chess School in Lindsborg, KS.

GM Karpov will also be available for autographs at the Karpov Chess School booth in the books and equipment area located in the Presidential C. GM Karpov's trip to the United States is for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of his World Championship and is sponsored by the Karpov Chess School. Following his appearance in Nashville, GM Karpov will be attending a celebration at the only Karpov Chess school in the US; located in Lindsborg, KS on April 15-16, 2005.

The SuperNationals Chess Championship is the third of its kind. Every four years we hold the National Elementary, National Junior High and the National High School together as one, thus the SuperNationals Chess Championship was created. For this years event we expect over 5,000 chess enthusiasts to be competing. Additional information can be found on our website at http://www.uschess.org.
