In the following letter, FIDE President Iljumzhinov provides Grandmaster Gata Kamsky with a list of the potential Chief Arbiters for the World Championship Match in Elista, and asks for his preferences.

The letter is part of a rapid flurry of correspondence that took place amongst the various parties on 4 and 5 May:

• Letter from FIDE President Iljumzhinov to GM Gata Kamsky continuing negotiations;
• Letter from USCF President Barry asks Iljumzhinov asking for further clarification;
• Letter from Iljumzhinov to GM Gata Kamsky concerning logistics, acknowledging that Kamsky will play, and stating that neither player will receive draw odds.
