FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE FIRM SPONSORS COMPETITION OF CHESS MASTERS

SKOKIE, ILLINOIS, December 21, 2009 – The North American Chess Association (NACA), kicks off the 2010 tournament year with its internationally renowned master‐level chess competition, The North American Masters, on January 8, 2010 with a new sponsor, Vince W Berry Real Estate Services, a commercial real estate firm serving the Greater Chicago area.

Mr. Berry, a life long chess lover and chess master, agreed to sponsor this segment of the North American Masters, wanting to bring attention to the often‐overlooked component of chess tournaments that pepper the U.S. from coast to coast, the master level.  ‘Businesses of all sizes should be looking to align themselves with chess, especially the master level’, Berry stated in an interview. ‘Chess and businesses have synergies from the basic building blocks, to advanced strategies. They go hand in hand, especially at the master level, where master class chess is the pinnacle of determination, knowledge, raw talent, and creativity. In chess, without these traits, one does not survive. The same applies to businesses’.   The 24th North American Masters will be held at the Holiday Inn North Shore in Skokie, IL and will continue over two weekends: Jan 8th – 10th and Feb 5th – 7th.  The event is open to the public.
