Americans in the World Cup: Akobian and Shabalov Out

In the World Cup round two tiebreaks, two American players, GMs Alexander Shabalov and Varuzhan Akobian were eliminated in the rapids.  But neither went down without a fight. Here are two of the games that sent our contenders packing.
