"Oh, Lonesome Me!"
By Glenn Petersen, Editor, Chess Life for Kids

thumb_earth_oblique.jpgOh, Lonesome Me, was written and recorded by Don Gibson with Chet Atkins back in 1958 for RCA-Victor (you can google for the lyrics or check out YouTube to listen to a recording).

The song made the Top Ten back then, but it may be ready to make a comeback in 2009 - at least in the opinion of most Earthlings!  Once again, the Wizards of Washington have shut out Earth and have chosen just one response:  19. ... 0-0.

I'm beginning to feel mighty lonesome ...

Maybe Astronaut Greg Chamitoff's 20th move will spark enough debate to allow Earthlings to once again, enter the fray.
