(NewYork, NY) -- American Chess University (ACU) today announced a weekend-long management educational program for Teachers, Chess Coaches and Trainers who are interested in improving their coaching skills and receiving FIDE certification. The seminar will be held on Aug. 11 - 12, 2006 in the Doubletree Hotel, Oak Brook, IL, tel: (630) 472-6000. 

Following is the schedule for the FIDE Training Seminar: 

Sat.,      Aug. 11            10:00 – 6:00 AM/PM

Sun.,     Aug. 12              9:00 – 5:00 AM/PM 

Seminar Fee: $350 - does not include applicable FIDE certification fees (FIDE Instructor: 100 Euros; FIDE Trainer: 250 Euros; FIDE Senior Trainer: 500 Euros). Training Seminars are conducted on behalf of FIDE and seminar fees are the same world-wide. Any U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) Club or affiliate interested in hosting a FIDE Training Seminar are encouraged to contact the ACU office at mailto:[email protected].
