On Sunday morning at the Elementary Nationals in Nashville, TN, clear leaders emerged in the K-6 Open, Unrated and K-5 Championship sections. In the other six sections, there are still at least two players with perfect scores.

William Lugar III from Georgia leads the K-6 Championship . With a rating of only 1614, he has already defeated two higher rated players on the way to his perfect 5-0 score, including the following victory over Zaroug Jaleel.

Just half a point behind are five other players, including one female player, Linda Diaz (1701), and Ryan Moon (1937), also from Georgia. Here is Ryan's fourth round game against Ojas Chinchwadkar.

Clear first in the K-5 Championship is Robert Perez (1787) from Florida while Alexander Sheppert leads the K-6 Unrated with another perfect score.

Chess Life Online will post a final report with more photos, games and a report from GM Michael Rohde.
