Patricia K Smith the US Chess Federation's Assistant Executive Director, also serves as Director of National Events and oversees the organization of our extensive program of national scholastic championships.  Pat organized the first Supernationals in Knoxville, TN. She was then hired to coordinate the Federation's move to Tennessee and was ultimately asked to join the staff.  Among the numerous scholastic tournaments she has organized now includes SuperNationals IV held in Nashville, TN in June 2009.  You can contact Pat at patsmith@uschess.org.

Glenn Petersen edits Chess Life for Kids magazine.  Formerly the editor of USCF's main publication, Chess Life, Glenn took on the job of launching CL4K in mid-2006, and produces full-color issues every two months for all of our members up to age 12.

Cat Connor Spradlin, our Senior Art Director for Chess Life for Kids, lends her experienced eye towards the presentation of child-friendly content for our scholastic members.  You can contact Cat at catseyephotography@mac.com.
