The 2nd Annual Washington International is underway. The current field for the tournament includes 11 GMs and 17 IMs. Top seeds include GMs Smirin (ISR), Perez (CUB), Fridman (GER), Jimenez (CUB), and Lenderman (USA).
The 9-round tournament will award $26,000 in guaranteed prizes and runs from August 6 - 12 in Rockville, MD.
