The Tata Steel Chess tournament began in Wijk aan Zee with a star studded field including World #1 Magnus Carlsen, GMs Levon Aronian, Fabiano Caruana, Vishy Anand and US Champion Hikaru Nakamura. Nakamura began the event with a draw against Anand. In a video interview from the scene, Nakamura talks about the game:
