Joseph Henry Condon, Belle Computer Creator, Dies

JoeCondon.jpgJoseph Henry Condon, creator of the chess program Belle with Ken Thompson, died at the age of 76. Belle, the first computer built specifically to play chess, won the 1980 World Computer chess championship and the North American Computer Chess Championships in 1978, 1980, 1981, 1982, and 1986.  Find out more in the full obituary on NJ.com.
