It's been a great week for women in chess as Hou Yifan blazed through
some of the best players (Shirov, Polgar) in the World at the Gibraltar Tradewise Chess Festival.
She ended the tournament tied for first with GM Nigel Short. Though she
lost the tiebreak match, her performance rating of 2872 definitely left
an impression on chess fans all over the world. GM Pavel Eljanov may
have said it best on twitter, "We need such a super talents like Hou Yifan! It`s very exciting to follow them! Judit, you are not alone anymore!" Look for a full recap of
