Shen Leads U.S. Cadet Chess Championships

There is no doubt about it.  For the third year in a row, the theme for the U.S. Cadet Championship (Crossville, July 12-15) is fighting chess. For the first two rounds of the Cadets, every game ended decisively.  The missiles are out and they came to Crossville armed and ready.  Arthur Shen leads the pack with a perfect 3/3 score. Two years ago, Arthur's brother Victor was number one seed in the 2009 U.S. Cadet Championship but Andrew Ng took first place.  Victor is in attendance at the event.
