IM Robert Hungaski
IM Robert Hungaski took clear first and earned his second GM norm at the New York International (St. John's University, June 17-21) with a score of 8/9. Robert finished ahead of nine GMs on the way to his incredible performance and the first prize of $5000. GM Jaan Ehlvest was a point and a half behind, but that was good enough for clear second and $2500. Young FMs Kassa Korley and Aleks Ostrovskiy earned IM norms.
