12-year-old IS 318 student Justus Williams of the Chess-in-the-Schools program hit 2200 last night at the Marshall Chess Club's 10 Grand Prix points tonight. In doing so, Justus becomes the youngest African-American Player to ever reach the master rating, breaking Kassa Korley's earlier record by three years. Justus will also be representing the United States in the World Youth Championship in (Halkidiki, Greece, October 19-31). Congratulations and Good luck!
