After joining the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce the five year old Beverly Hills Chess Club has been nominated for a Golden Palm Award in Small Business innovation. After weathering the down economy successfully in a luxury services market, and growing its membership by leaps and bounds, Beverly Hills Chess Club stands at the front of the pack and is receiving attention locally for its innovative work.

Beverly Hills Chess Club innovates by connecting a diverse local community with the passion and advantages of the game of chess in the development of children and in adults. With its sold out events and lectures, community partnerships and educational focus BHCC has a strong foundation in innovating and connecting people to chess in positive and unexpected ways.

"Z-Ultimate, Self Defense Studio of Beverly Hills, has partnered up with Beverly Hills Chess Club and we are proud of the camaraderie and friendship we have gained. Through mutual respect for our vocations we have joined together this Summer and offered the community our Services. The Chess Club of Beverly Hills is an example to our Community demonstrating that quality, honesty and dedication can make your business successful and prosperous. We are very proud of Isabelle, as she daily demonstrates strength, kindness and commitment. As business owner I sometimes turn to her for advise and she's always there to offer support and words of encouragement. Z-Ultimate could not be more happy with our partnership and collaboration."

-Fabio De Paz, Chief Instructor of Beverly Hills Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studio
