(Crossville, TN) Chess organizer Dennis Doyle successfully ran USCF's 2007 U.S. Action G/30 Chess Championship in Joliet, Illinois on June 16 at Joliet Jr. College. The national event drew 51 players from all across the United States.

Ashish Vaja was the Overall Champion with a final score of 5.0! Robert Loncarevis and Aakaash Meduri won the Class A with tied scores of 4.0. Martin W. Wilber and Hank Anzis won the Class B division with 3.5 scores. Class C was won by Henry Cao and Ben Anzis with 3.5 scores. Jim Demos was the champion of Class D with a final score of 3.0. David Vetter won the Class E/F division with a final score of 2.0.
