The tournament will be held at the Jacob Brown Auditorium in the University of Texas at Brownsville campus.
The National Youth Action kicks off this year on November 7-9 in Brownsville, Texas with bughouse and blitz tournaments followed by a packed schedule of nine rounds in two days. 2008 U.S. Class Champion IM Daniel Fernandez will give a simultaneous exhibition on Saturday evening.  

 Organizer Franc Guadalupe expects over 500 participants! So far, the top seed is sixth grader Michael Brown (1982) from Portola Hills Elementary, Trabuco Canyon, California.
